We are pleased to offer some short profiles of UK gospel music artists and ministers. These are independent artists and we are currently showing on this page Isabella and Gabriel Eziashi.

Isabella

Isabella Ogo-Uzodike Songwriter Psalmist Worship PastorIsabella (surname Ogo-Uzodike) is an anointed Songwriter, Psalmist and Worship Pastor at The Father's House International Church, London. From Nigeria, Isabella came to England in 1998 with a clear vision to use her gifts of songwriting and powerfully unique sounding vocals to worship God and to draw people of all nations and generations to the worship of The Father. True to her vision, Isabella followed her passion and founded her worship ministry "Isabellamelodies" based on the Scripture John 4:23 "But the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth". Isabella describes her ministry mantle and mantra as 'the sound of worship'.

Why Christian music and Gospel music CDs are still worth buying – CDs are still worth buying as they are much better for the following reasons:-

1.       Quality of recording than MP3 and MP4. Also you have right to copy the music to your personal MP3 player, computer and other equipment.
2.        It is compact but still something tangible often with carefully considered graphic design, information, words of the songs, and thanks and acknowledgements that can be priceless and so ready to hand in a CD cover.
3.       Independent artists often rely on and benefit directly from the CD sales of their music. Each CD purchase helps them recover some of the costs of recording, production, graphic design and manufacturing that went into their CD. It might also be what the artist needs to continue to record and produce good music.

Each Christian music or Gospel music CD you buy gives at least 2 of the above benefits to you and often all three. That can only be worth considering. Support independent artists now. Buy their, single, EP or album CD.

Don’t be completely persuaded that all albums have only a few good songs with the rest in there for packing. Yes it can and has happened in the past and probably will again in the future but we know from experience that there can often be gems of songs there.

Gabriel Eziashi

Gabriel Eziashi Gospel Music Artist NigeriaA prolific songwriter and a dynamic singer with a phenomenal voice range, Gabriel Eziashi’s drive and fervour for the art of worship has made him one of the most compelling voices to emerge from the UK gospel scene. An anointed worship leader, vocalist and also an ordained minister with The Redeemed Christian Church of God in the United Kingdom, Gabriel Eziashi pastors a parish known as the Milton Keynes Tabernacle. Gabriel’s humble spirit, gifted vocal ability, and eagerness to see people experience God’s awesomeness through the medium of worship has taken him far and wide. He has collaborated and shared the same platform with several world renowned gospel ministers including Helen Baylor, Donnie McClurkin, Chevelle Franklin, Muyiwa of Riversongz, double MOBO Award (Best Jazz) winner Yolanda Brown, Bishop John Francis, Pastor Paul Irabor, and Mike Aremu amongst others.

Gabriel Eziashi’s music - April 2006 he recorded his first album "Stand By Me" in Jesus House, London. It was the first-ever live recording in Jesus House and the thousand-seater auditorium was filled to capacity. In 2008, Gabriel was led to record a second album “Intimate Moments”, this time in his homeland of Nigeria. Under the auspices of international award winning producers, Cobhams Asuquo, Wole Oni, Rotimi Akinfenwa and Iyke Onka, a ten-track album was recorded. In his own words Gabriel describes the songs as "everything good and beautiful that I have experienced with my Lord Jesus". In July 2009, Gabriel released in limited quantity an EP of four songs from his new album. Two singles from his current album ("My Praise" & "We Declare Your Kingdom") are already enjoying massive airplay in Nigeria and the United Kingdom; and a promotional video has been produced for "My Praise". The single "My Praise" is already available for online purchase and download. With all that life had thrown at him, he has just one belief; "that with God nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37).
